The Holidays

The Christmas holidays here in the Southern Hemisphere mean summer and super hot temperatures, so whilst those in the Northern Hemisphere shiver and want to hibernate indoors, we have much the same problem in that, from 10am to 4 pm it is just too damn hot to be outside.  So anyway, my productivity over the last month or so hasn´t been all it could´ve been.

But here are a few drawings I have done.

The first two are of a Fort, which is perched on the water side leading into the port, here in Santos, its original purpose to protect the city of Santos from attack, from pirates and the like, during its beginnings. I recently read that it was actually attacked by English Pirate Thomas Cavendish on 24 Dec, 1591, so on behalf of us all, sorry about that!

The second picture was done whilst on a cruise we recently took, aboard the MSC Magnifica. The ship was docked in Montevideo for some hours during the day and this was the view from our cabin, I believe the building is the old Port Authority building, but I won't swear to it.

I hope you enjoy the drawings
